When should I use a state vs city vs suburb page?

State pages read the broader market. City pages add the local price cycle — where the market sits between the last jump and the next low — plus cheaper suburbs nearby. Suburb pages are for the actual fill-up call: current station prices, distance and update times. Drill down as you get closer to buying.

Why do small towns not always appear?

Some regional towns have only one or two reporting stations. To avoid misleading averages, we only surface a suburb page when there is enough station coverage for a stable comparison. The live map still shows individual stations regardless.

How often do location prices update?

Prices refresh every 15–30 minutes for states with real-time feeds (NSW, QLD, ACT, SA, TAS, NT). Victoria and Western Australia publish on a 24-hour cycle, so VIC and WA pages can lag a day on absolute numbers but still show the right relative pattern.
