Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 11 October 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the FuelRadar Australia website and associated mobile applications, including their CarPlay, Apple Watch and widget companions, operated by WebDigital (ABN: 17 453 778 242).

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using FuelRadar Australia, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website, app, map, tools or related services.

2. Eligibility

Anyone can browse fuel prices. You must be at least 15 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need a parent or legal guardian's permission to buy FuelRadar+ or make any other purchase.

3. Accounts

You can browse fuel prices as a guest. You need an account for features such as saved stations, alerts, saved routes, vehicles, the logbook, rewards, price reports and FuelRadar+ on more than one device.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account unless it results from our failure to take reasonable care.
You can delete your account at any time in the app or from the account deletion page on the website.

4. Permitted and prohibited use

You may use FuelRadar Australia to compare fuel prices, find nearby stations, review price trends, plan fuel stops and keep your own fuel records. You must not misuse the service.

Do not submit false, misleading or intentionally inaccurate fuel prices.
Do not scrape, copy, bulk extract, reverse engineer or interfere with the website, app or service without written permission.
Do not republish FuelRadar content or data through an API, MCP tool, data feed or commercial database without written permission.
Do not circumvent or attempt to circumvent access controls through proxy rotation, CAPTCHA solving or automated browsers.
Do not disrupt the security, availability, integrity or performance of the website, app, APIs or official price sources.
Do not use the website or app while driving in a way that breaches Australian road safety laws. Pull over safely before using your device. CarPlay, voice search and notifications do not change your responsibility to drive safely and obey the law.

5. Your contributions

You are responsible for the usernames, price reports, station updates, photos and other content you submit.
Do not submit content that is offensive, unlawful, misleading, or that includes another person's personal information without their permission.
Usernames and images are reviewed automatically, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may reject, remove or change a username, image or report, and we may remove leaderboard standing gained through false reports.
Your username can be shown to other users on leaderboards and beside your reports.
You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and adapt price reports and station updates to operate and improve the service. Photos in your private logbook and vehicle records are used only to provide those features to you.

6. Fuel price data

FuelRadar Australia displays fuel price information from state reporting programs, retailer reports where available, station reports and other supported sources. Fuel prices change frequently.

We do not guarantee that every price is current, complete or available at the pump.
The price displayed by the retailer at the station always takes precedence over any price shown on FuelRadar.
Coverage, update timing, fuel availability and station details may vary by state, territory, brand, station and fuel type.
Price cycle information and forecasts are estimates based on past prices. They are not a guarantee of future prices.
Prices shown with your fuel discounts or rewards applied are estimates based on the details you entered. The retailer or reward program decides whether a discount applies.
Logbook totals, fuel economy figures and reports are calculated from what you enter and are for your own records. Check them before relying on them for tax, reimbursement or business purposes.

7. Notifications and location features

Price alerts, fill-up prompts and other notifications depend on your device settings, network coverage and data from third parties. They may be late, missed or inaccurate, and you should not rely on them as your only source of information. Fill-up prompts use background location only if you turn them on, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

All content, branding, design, software, data presentation, website features and app features are owned by WebDigital, its licensors or relevant data providers. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell or create derivative works without written permission.

9. FuelRadar+ and payments

FuelRadar Australia offers free ad-supported services and optional paid features. FuelRadar+ access may be offered as a one-off lifetime purchase, prepaid access or a recurring subscription. The options available to you, and their prices, are shown before you confirm.

Lifetime purchase: a single payment that gives FuelRadar+ access for as long as we offer the FuelRadar service, on the account or app-store account used to buy it. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.
Subscriptions, where offered: before you confirm, the store shows the billing period, whether it renews automatically, and any trial or introductory terms. A subscription renews until you cancel. You manage or cancel it through the app-store account used to subscribe. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription. After cancellation, access normally continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Restoring purchases: you can restore a previous purchase in the app using the same app-store account. Existing lifetime and paid access is kept when the app is updated.
Purchases on the website, where offered: payment is processed by Stripe, and access is attached to your FuelRadar account so it works when you sign in to the app.
Payment processing: payments are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe or another provider identified before confirmation, with RevenueCat managing access. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Changes to features: the features included in FuelRadar+ and in the free version may change over time. We will not remove paid access you have already bought, other than as allowed by these Terms or the law.
Refunds: refunds for app-store purchases are handled under the applicable store policy. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information, including location, analytics, advertising and automated review. By using FuelRadar Australia, you agree that your information may be handled as described in that policy.

11. Disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights that cannot be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

The website, app and related services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis.
We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or perfect accuracy of fuel price, map, route, station, supply or availability information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from use of the website, app or related services.

12. Third-party services

The website and app use third-party services for sign-in, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, attribution, payment management, maps, routing, content review, hosting, communications and operational monitoring.

Examples include Google Firebase, Google Analytics, Google advertising services, Google Gemini, AppsFlyer, RevenueCat, Stripe, Sentry, TomTom, Apple Maps, Cloudflare, app-store platforms and hosting providers.
Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Apple and Google are not responsible for the FuelRadar service or its content.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, misused the website, app or service, submitted false data, attempted unauthorised access, or created risk for other users or the service.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You submit to the jurisdiction of Australian courts for disputes relating to these Terms or the service.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the website, app, legal requirements, third-party services or business operations change. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
