About this grade
Premium 98 (P98) is the highest-octane mainstream petrol at 98 RON, no ethanol. Modern turbo and high-compression engines that specify 98 get the best performance and economy from it; in a car built for regular unleaded the extra cost is usually a premium you don't need.
Premium is worth it when your engine specifies it. For a car designed for U91 or E10, premium is usually a performance choice, not a fuel-saving one.
