Select the fuel your vehicle uses before comparing stations. A station with cheap E10 may have a higher diesel price, so compare the same grade at each stop.

Use the map to see which stations suit your route. Open a station to check its reported price, update time, address and directions. Confirm the price at the bowser when you arrive.

Allow for the detour

Why do nearby fuel prices differ so much?

Fuel prices vary because of local competition, brand strategy, traffic patterns, convenience premiums and the current price-cycle position. Stations only a few kilometres apart can differ by 10 to 30 cents per litre.

Should I drive further for cheaper fuel?

Only if the saving beats the extra time and fuel used. A large gap on a full tank can be worth a short detour, but a tiny gap usually is not. Compare the distance, price and update time in FuelRadar before deciding.
