Fuel cost calculator questions

How is the trip fuel cost calculated?

Litres needed = km ÷ 100 × L/100km. Fuel cost = litres × cents per litre ÷ 100. A return trip doubles the one-way distance.

Can FuelRadar calculate the driving distance?

Yes. Choose Start and destination, pick both places from the suggestions, then use the driving distance. FuelRadar fills the distance and, when stations on the route have current reports, their average price. You can change either figure.

Where do I find my vehicle’s fuel use?

Use the average from recent fills or the trip computer. The vehicle options are typical figures; traffic, towing, speed and load change what your car uses.

How do I get a better price for the trip?

Check station prices on the fuel map before you leave, and time a bigger fill with the price cycle charts where your city has a cycle.
