Service stations in Sydney can change prices during the day, so the city average is a guide rather than a bowser price. The reported premium diesel average is 240.8 c/L, and the lowest report is 16.3c/L below it. Check the station update time and distance before travelling for the difference.

For each station, check the fuel type, report time and distance. An older report or a station well off your route may not be worth a small price difference. If your vehicle uses diesel, premium or an ethanol blend, use the fuel-type table instead of the premium diesel list. Prices for different fuels do not always move together.

The gap between the lowest and highest reported premium diesel price in Sydney is 35.4c/L. Prices may differ by suburb as well as brand. For a detour, allow for the extra kilometres and check that the lower report is recent.
