What the app adds

Cheap, Average or Pricey price colours
Every price is marked Cheap, Average or Pricey against prices nearby, in green, orange or red, with the word and a map legend so colour is never the only cue.

Compare Free and FuelRadar+Questions
Is the FuelRadar app free?
Yes. The map, station prices and route planner are free. A free account lets you save up to 25 stations and set 2 price alerts. On iPhone and iPad, FuelRadar+ may be offered as a one-off purchase or a subscription, paid through your Apple Account (From A$4.99), with the price shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. If you already have FuelRadar+, it stays active. It adds more price alerts, cycle-low and best-nearby alerts, Fill Plan, Savings Tip, up to 1 year of price history and replay, where available, higher rewards and logbook limits, AI voiceovers and no website ads while signed in.
Do I need an account?
No. You can check prices without signing in. You only need an account to save stations or set price alerts, and the same account works on this website.
Which phones does the app work on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later, Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later, Android with Android 7.0 or later. On iPhone it also works with CarPlay in cars that support it. It is free on the App Store and Google Play.
Where do the prices come from?
From fuel price reporting schemes, retailers and FuelRadar users in Australia. Every price shows when it was last updated.
Is the app different from the website?
Both show the same prices and use the same account. The app is quicker when you are out and can alert you on your phone. The website has the forecasts, price reports, charts and guides.
